About HL Group
The HL Group was founded in 2017 by Co-Founder and Group Director Mike Gopal in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The company was first incorporated as HL Consultants, with a primary focus on the design and supply of both Digital Signage and Workplace solutions such as Condeco and Smartsign.
Fast forward to 2021, and Nadim Labban joins as Group General Manager and Equity Partner, marking a significant milestone. The company relocates to Meydan Freezone and establishes its current offices located in Al Barsha, Dubai.
By now, the company has grown, boasting wholly-owned offices in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Kenya. Our business has diversified through collaborations and investments.
Today, the HL Group is actively involved in Angel Investing, Market Development Consulting, SaaS Distribution, Unified Collaboration Solutions Development, Cyber Security, F&B Entertainment, and Beauty and Healthcare.
In addition to our Middle East and Africa business operations, we also decided in 2019 to give back in the form of a CSR program called Phoenix Space, a UK registered nonprofit. Its goal is to provide education and vocational training to refugee children in an effort to reintegrate them into the workplace. Our Group Director Mike Gopal sits on the board and functions as its Global Head of Partnerships.
